National Account Executive, Northeast

Role: Senior Market Access professional responsible for driving payer engagement, coverage, and reimbursement strategies for Genetix's gene therapies in the Northeast region. Objectives include ensuring timely patient access, negotiating value-based agreements, and streamlining payer and treatment center pathways. Responsibilities encompass developing relationships with payers and Qualified Treatment Centers (QTCs), managing complex reimbursement issues, advocating for coverage aligned with FDA-approved indications, and supporting policy and contracting negotiations. The role requires coordinating cross-functionally with medical, legal, patient support, and commercial teams to mitigate access barriers and optimize patient pull-through. Qualifications: 10+ years in biotech/pharma, with strong expertise in US payer landscapes for cell and gene therapies, including commercial payers, PBMs, Medicaid, and Medicare. Bachelor's degree mandatory; Master’s preferred. Deep clinical and financial acumen necessary, with established relationships with payer decision-makers and experience navigating complex provider organizations and alternative payment models. Work setup involves field-based activity with approximately 50% travel. The position demands a strategic thinker with exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation skills, and compliance awareness, committed to facilitating patient access to innovative, potentially curative therapies.
