About The Role
Responsible for securing and optimizing access for Neurocrine brands across assigned payer accounts (national/regional managed care organizations, PBMs, and state Medicaid). Builds strategic relationships to improve patient access, reimbursement, and utilization while optimizing gross-to-net performance.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)
- Build and maintain long-term payer stakeholder relationships by understanding organizational structure, clinical/economic priorities, and decision-making processes.
- Develop and execute account-specific business plans; monitor formulary status, contract performance, access, and financial performance.
- Serve as primary conduit between national accounts and internal teams; communicate contract changes and payer-driven requests and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Partner to develop/negotiates payer contracting strategies; evaluate rebate investment vs. utilization and payer mix.
- Manage trade-offs between formulary access, utilization management (PA/ST), and rebate structures.
- Identify and implement non-contracting solutions (policy engagement, exception pathways, targeted education).
- Analyze account performance (formulary positioning, restriction criteria, claims trends, competitive dynamics, gross-to-net impact) and manage KPIs.
- Present payer insights during business reviews and contribute to brand strategy.

Requirements
- BS/BA in Business, Marketing, or Scientific Field + 12+ years managing national/regional payer accounts (Managed Care, PBMs, and/or Medicaid; behavioral health preferred). OR Master’s/MBA preferred + 10+ years.

Preferred/Required Skills & Expertise
- Proven ability engaging formulary decision-makers (P&T committees, medical/pharmacy directors, executives).
- Expertise in contracting, rebate negotiations, access agreements, gross-to-net dynamics, and U.S. payer landscape (Medicare Part D, Medicaid, commercial).
- Strong analytics/KPI management; excellent negotiation, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary: $197,900–$270,000.
- Eligible for quarterly incentive compensation and equity long-term incentive.
