Brief Description
National Account Director – Emisar / Optum / United responsible for developing and managing the relationship with Emisar, Optum Rx, and United Healthcare; representing the Jazz portfolio and ensuring appropriate market access within assigned accounts. Key Market Access point of contact across Commercial and Medicare books of business.

Responsibilities
- Execute market access strategies for Commercial and Medicare books at Emisar, Optum Rx, and United Healthcare.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers/influencers impacting coverage/reimbursement.
- Influence policies, guidelines, and contracts to enable timely, clinically appropriate access and reimbursement.
- Create and execute stakeholder engagement plans; represent Jazz at industry events.
- Coordinate Jazz activities/resources with accounts as single point of contact.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Legal, Access Services, PVO/HEOR) to address access challenges.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews; develop and present strategic account plans.
- Lead/coordinate reimbursement support optimization and keep reporting/tools updated.
- Anticipate obstacles and develop mitigation plans.
- Negotiate discount agreements per contracting guidelines and applicable laws/policies.

Qualifications & Skills
- 10+ years pharma/biopharmaceutical experience; 4+ years success as an Account Manager calling on National commercial and/or government/Medicaid payers.
- 2+ years direct management/team leadership experience.
- Network-building, cross-organizational leadership, payer/formulary/PDL and coverage/reimbursement knowledge, and compliance understanding.
- Strong business acumen, communication, critical thinking/decision-making, results drive, influence, interpersonal/self-awareness, planning/organization, self-management/development; uphold integrity, passion, collaboration, innovation, pursuit of excellence; operate compliantly.

US Candidate Compensation/Benefits (if applicable)
- Base pay range: $224,000–$336,000; potential annual cash bonus/incentive and equity; medical/dental/vision, 401k, flexible paid vacation.
