PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as primary corporate account lead for targeted organized customers/decision-makers for priority IDNs.
- Develop and execute national account strategies across IDNs, academic medical centers, large health systems, and cancer centers.
- Engage pharmacy, supply chain, finance, population health, quality, and clinical stakeholders to support formulary access, operational readiness, reimbursement optimization, and financial adoption.
- Support health system/organized customer contracting strategies; collaborate with Pricing, Trade, and Contracting to optimize access positioning.
- Provide payer/provider dynamics input; identify adoption barriers and develop customized solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Sales, Medical Affairs, Trade, HEOR, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Patient Services.

Pre-Approval Information Exchange (PIE)
- Lead compliant PIE engagements for awareness and planning for launches/label expansions.
- Deliver FDA-compliant clinical, economic, and operational value messaging; educate on reimbursement pathways, coding, and implementation.
- Develop/present budget impact analyses, pro formas, and economic value assessments; quantify financial implications (e.g., acquisition cost, site-of-care economics, outcomes).

Revenue Cycle & Reimbursement Expertise
- Advise on hospital/health system revenue cycle operations (coding/billing, DRG/APC, NTAP/pass-through, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy/medical benefit reimbursement, charge capture/claims adjudication).
- Identify reimbursement risks and develop mitigation.

HUB & Patient Services
- Partner with HUB/patient support to optimize onboarding, benefits verification, prior auth, financial assistance, and therapy access; incorporate customer feedback.

Account Planning & Execution
- Build national account plans (stakeholder mapping, opportunity ID, financial analyses, access strategies); track metrics/forecasting/reporting.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Strong payer/provider economics (inpatient/outpatient); executive influence; analytical/financial modeling/presentation; cross-functional leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8–12 years in pharma/biotech/specialty pharmacy/consulting/market access.
- Experience with IDNs, academic medical centers, organized health systems, and institutional customers.
- Travel up to 50% (overnights; NJ/Chicago and assigned conferences).
