About The Role
Responsible for securing and optimizing access for Neurocrine brands across assigned national accounts (Trade, Specialty Pharmacy, LTC Pharmacy and associations, and GPOs), building strategic relationships aligned to enterprise and brand objectives. Collaborates cross-functionally (Market Access Marketing, Pricing & Contracting, Patient Access, Field Sales, Medical) to design and execute strategic account plans in compliance with policies and regulations.
Your Contributions (Responsibilities)
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders; understand business models, orgs, priorities, and decision processes
- Develop, execute, and evolve account-specific business plans; monitor contract progress, deliverables, and performance
- Lead operational engagement with pharmacies/distributors (business reviews, patient status alignment, issue resolution)
- Partner on innovative contracting strategies; negotiate/implement contracting that supports brand objectives
- Identify non-contracting access solutions when possible
- Analyze account performance KPIs (contracts, usage, inventory, competition, market share) and adjust plans
- Provide account updates to Market Access leadership (performance, risks, opportunities)
- Support pharmacy network evaluation; onboard/train newly assigned national accounts
- Monitor healthcare/public policy trends; translate into compliant actions
- Deliver measurable outcomes (access, education, utilization, account performance)
Requirements
- BS/BA in Business/Marketing/Scientific field and 12+ years managing national/regional strategic pharmacy accounts (Specialty Pharmacy, LTC, and/or GPO in behavioral health preferred)
OR Masterβs/MBA preferred with 10+ years similar experience
Preferred/Skill Emphasis
- Strategic national account leadership; executive-level engagement; multi-channel navigation
- Contracting/pricing/acccess agreement expertise
- U.S. pharma distribution, reimbursement, payer/formulary, channel/access optimization knowledge
- Strong analytics (KPIs, CRM/customer data) and cross-functional partnership
Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Base salary: $197,900β$270,000; eligible for quarterly incentive and equity long-term incentive
