Main Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted bridge between Controlling Operations and Finance Business Partners, translating process and data into insight that enables cohesive, aligned decisions.
- Foster partnerships with business leaders and the Service Delivery Hub team; ensure alignment and transparency of targets.
- Challenge legacy ways of working; identify gaps and shape improved processes across business units/functions.
- Provide ad-hoc OPEX support and cross-SPC NA analyses to inform high-level decisions.
- Support strategy delivery using OPEX analysis to drive standardization and automation.
- Design and implement new finance ways of working; provide end-to-end oversight of Controlling Operations core model processes and service quality for Vaccines NA OPEX.
- Own OPEX planning, budgeting, and forecasting; manage P&L roll-up/analytics, accounting, and month-end close.
- Track and challenge budget-vs-actuals, flux, risks/opportunities, and targets; build P&L bridges and metrics.
- Support close/landing exercises; participate in Monthly Expense Reviews.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or CPA desirable.
- 5+ years diversified financial/accounting experience.
- Pharmaceutical/related industry preferred.
- Experience leading/managing people preferred.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups, macros) required.
- SAP, TM1, SHIFT preferred.
