MSL Team Lead - US East

Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Team Lead in neurology/neuromuscular and rare diseases, reporting to the VP of Global Medical Affairs Strategy. Primary objectives include developing and executing the regional MSL strategy, overseeing team management, and fostering relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). Responsibilities encompass strategic planning, scientific discourse, training, and compliance, along with cross-functional collaboration to address data gaps and support medical strategies. The role also involves representing the company at scientific meetings, mentoring team members, and ensuring effective communication of scientific information. Qualifications: Graduate degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, NP/PA, DPT, MSN), with 12-15+ years of professional experience, including 5-7+ years in field medical roles. Proven leadership in team management, strategic planning, and scientific exchange; deep knowledge of Sarepta’s product portfolio, industry landscape, and therapeutic areas. Skills required include excellent communication, influence, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong emphasis on scientific rigor, compliance, and results orientation. Work setup: Hybrid environment in the U.S., with some travel to company events and conferences.
