MSL/Sr. MSL, Psychiatry (Boston, MA)

Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) supporting AbbVie's initiatives in assigned therapeutic areas, primarily in psychiatry. Objectives include developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, providing scientific and medical support, and facilitating research activities. Core responsibilities involve engaging with thought leaders, presenting data on AbbVie products, supporting research projects, and serving as an internal expert for disease states and therapies, ensuring scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance. The role also includes training internal teams, supporting payer negotiations, and contributing to advisory boards. Requirements: Advanced degree (Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD, or APP), minimum 3 years industry experience, with at least 4 years post-professional practice or relevant research. Prior MSL experience is mandatory, with psychiatry experience highly preferred. Skills include problem-solving, scientific storytelling, active listening, and proficiency in MS Office tools. Candidates must meet healthcare industry credentialing standards and be willing to travel up to 75%. Location: Boston MA, with the candidate either residing in or willing to relocate within the territory.
