MSL/Senior MSL, Specialty - (Texas)

Role: Field-based Scientific Expert (MSL/Senior MSL) supporting AbbVie's therapeutic areas, primarily immunology, oncology, and neuroscience. Objectives: Foster scientific relationships, support research, educate healthcare professionals, and align medical insights with commercial activities. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with thought leaders, present scientific data on disease states and therapies, support investigator-initiated research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet medical and business goals. Qualifications: Advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, or equivalent) with 0-3+ years relevant experience; prefer expertise in endocrinology, metabolic, obesity, or gastroenterology. Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills; proficiency in MS Office; ability to travel up to 75%. High-Value: Focus on immunology, oncology, neuroscience; supporting research initiatives, engaging with healthcare providers, and providing medical/scientific support within the product lifecycle. Location: Territory includes Dallas, Houston, Austin, Texas; candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within the territory.
