MSL/Senior MSL, Specialty - (Texas)

Role: Field-based Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) supporting AbbVie's research and commercial objectives within specified therapeutic areas, primarily focusing on immunology, oncology, and neuroscience. Responsibilities include developing relationships with healthcare professionals and thought leaders, providing scientific education on disease states and AbbVie's therapies across the product lifecycle, supporting research collaborations, and serving as a clinical resource. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, R&D, and commercial teams, ensuring compliant communication and education, and supporting investigator-initiated studies. Qualifications: Advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, or APP), with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for Senior MSLs and 0-2 years for MSLs. Preferably experienced in endocrinology, metabolic, obesity, or gastroenterology. Must demonstrate clinical expertise, excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills. High-value specifics include supporting activities in highly regulated environments, with up to 75% travel, covering regions such as Texas (Dallas, Houston, Austin). The position requires credentialing, strong scientific and presentation skills, and the ability to analyze and translate clinical data for healthcare professionals.
