Operations
The Mixing Operator III operates industrial mixing equipment in accordance with Company SOPs and maintains 100% cGMP compliance to ensure consistent production of high-quality pharmaceutical products.
Essential Functions:
- Perform and verify complex equipment cleaning and operate various types of industrial-scale mixing equipment.
- Monitor production to ensure batches are completed on schedule and equipment runs safely and efficiently.
- Review Production Batch Records (PBRs) for accuracy after mixing; sign off and submit to the Supervisor.
- Ensure all department equipment is properly grounded before starting any batch.
- Follow the daily production schedule and assign tasks to support workflow and production targets.
- Assess Mixing Operators I and II performance/skills and provide recommendations for development or improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED (Preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years in a Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing environment with HS/GED; or 6+ years in related experience in a Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing environment without HS/GED.
Skills:
- Read/write/communicate in English; high school-level math and mechanical skills; flexible for extended hours; team-oriented; attention to detail and accuracy.
Specialized Knowledge:
- Knowledge of High Shear Mixer, Fluid Bed Processor, GPCG-60 and 120.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $22.00–$32.00.
- Short-term incentive opportunity (bonus/performance-based) within first 12 months.
- Health/insurance benefits and 401(k) matching contribution for eligible positions.
