Microbiologist

Role: Microbiologist in quality control for a biopharma focused on ophthalmic products, responsible for microbiological testing, method validation, and laboratory operations. Responsibilities: perform USP 71 sterility testing, validate methods, backup environmental monitoring, investigate non-conformances, maintain lab safety and documentation, manage laboratory supplies, and calibrate instrumentation. Requirements: BS/BA in Microbiology or Biology; 5-7 years in microbiology within cGMP/FDA-regulated settings; hands-on knowledge of USP 71 and microbiology techniques; strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in teams.
