Role Summary
Micro-Ingredient Dispensing Unit (MIDU) Operator on the Days Crew at the Milton, VT facility. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a 12-hour shift (6am-6pm ET) on a repeating 2-2-3 schedule. Position involves daily dispensing activities, cleaning, maintenance, and computer input to support dispensing needs in compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Daily dispensing (scheduled and unscheduled) to support Production, NPPD, Contract Manufacturing, MSOs, QA samples, retests, etc. Follow detailed procedures and document thoroughly.
- Use CDS, SAP, and DCS software to perform daily tasks; perform tasks manually when necessary.
- Perform MIDU consumptions in SAP, verify inventories in SAP, and releases.
- Calculate and order daily raw materials in SAP; receive materials into 3WS and SAP manually.
- Clean MIDU and other area/equipment as directed.
- Calculate strength-factor adjustments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor; may require short-notice overtime or shift changes.
Qualifications
- Required:
- H.S. diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions
- Ability to perform duties in a safe, efficient and sanitary manner
- Ability to operate and navigate computer and various systems & applications
- Preferred:
- Knowledge of GMPs and food allergens
- Initiative, commitment to quality, problem-solving skills, dependability, and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team at all levels
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Additional Requirements
- Position requires bending, stooping, and repetitive lifting up to 55 lbs
- Standing and walking for 10+ hours per shift
- Exposure to noise, cold (40°F) and warm (110°F) temperatures, strenuous activity, working at heights and/or in confined spaces
- Ability to wear required safety equipment and garments
- Work from ladders, scaffolding, and staging as required
