Role: Lead Systems Architect and Technical SME for Lilly's new LP2 gene therapy manufacturing MES platform, overseeing architecture, design, build, and validation of the end-to-end system. Responsibilities: develop and validate Tulip applications for GxP manufacturing workflows, lead automation integrations with equipment, author design specifications ensuring compliance with ALCOA+ and 21 CFR Part 11, and manage validated migration lifecycle. Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Automation Engineering, Quality, and the MES Product Owner; mentor engineers and report system status and risks to leadership. Requirements: Bachelor's in IT, Software/Computer Engineering or related; 5+ yearsβ experience with MES or pharma manufacturing IT, including system integration and CSV in GMP environments; eligible to work full-time in the US. Preferred: knowledge of modern software architecture, MuleSoft/Anypoint, MQTT, OPC UA, and validation under 21 CFR Part 11; familiarity with Git, Jira, ServiceNow; strong cross-functional communication skills.
