Role Summary
The MES Operations Analyst supports understanding manufacturing business processes, eliciting and documenting requirements, and coordinating communications across departments. The role focuses on recommending ongoing business process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing company documentation including SOPs, SPECS, and Manufacturing Batch Records to assess MES impact
- Identifying difficulties and revising logic and procedures
- Supervising and driving process MES change controls and writing test plans
- Working with Technical Trainers to develop training plans for MES users
- Collaborating in the creation, review, and approval of validation documents
- Coordinating the development and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for upgrades and other changes
- Developing MES recipes, workflows, and electronic batch records to meet the requirements of manufacturing and QA users
- Providing end-user support for MES usage and working closely with IT to troubleshoot problems
Qualifications
- Required: BS/BA in a related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience (experience may be considered in lieu of education)
- Required: BS/BA in a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience (experience may be considered in lieu of education)
- Required: BS/BA in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience (experience may be considered in lieu of education)
