Role Summary

In the MES Engineer- Recipe Author role, you will contribute to designing and developing manufacturing processes for products or supporting the upkeep of systems, with a focus on automation engineering. You will collaborate with a forward-thinking engineering team to accelerate the delivery of medicines and ensure equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to moderately complex projects, managing time effectively to meet targets.
  • Apply skills and knowledge to contribute to team efforts.
  • Use judgment to modify methods and techniques as needed.
  • Monitor and complete periodic reviews, including the validation master plan for automation engineering.
  • Demonstrate exceptional planning, organizing, time management, and team participation skills.
  • Take responsibility for routine and preventive maintenance, ensuring equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Required: Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a master's degree with 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience
  • Required: Proven experience in Automation Engineering
  • Required: Proficiency in drafting software test plans, user requirements, and system design documents
  • Required: Hands-on experience with Automation Compliance projects
  • Required: Familiarity with process controls equipment
  • Required: Robust understanding of Computerized Systems, Compliance regulations, and standards
  • Required: Strong teamwork spirit and excellent communication skills
  • Preferred: Relevant pharmaceutical experience
  • Preferred: Understanding of programming and proficiency in at least one language
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Preferred: Ability to train others effectively
  • Preferred: Strong problem-solving skills

Additional Requirements

  • Non-standard Work Schedule, Travel Or Environment: Off hours, weekends and/or holidays may be required in support of new deployment of eMBRs. May require limited time to be physically present on the manufacturing shop floor. Work Location: Hybrid
