Operations
As MEP Planner, the workload planning activities will expedite, streamline and increase productivity for services provided by the maintenance department. Supports effective and efficient job execution by identifying and performing job investigation, plan development, material procurement, standard data application, communication, reporting and follow up.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Supports daily labor force planning/scheduling for 18–25 people.
- Identifies jobs to be planned; creates time/resource estimates via field checks and review of work requests.
- Contacts production coordinator, facility engineer, or supervisor to determine requirements and job priority.
- Creates, identifies, reviews, and communicates job/work plans including personnel and material needs.
- Coordinates work via meetings/discussions and prepares sketches/drawings/vendor literature; orders parts/materials from stockroom or vendors.
- Conducts disciplined workforce planning/scheduling with daily communications, CMMS documentation, and report generation.
- Coordinates equipment availability and work schedules with maintenance supervisors/group leaders/others.
- Maintains PM program integrity via CMMS data/instruction (checklists, spare parts, PM frequency, regulatory compliance, manufacturing schedules, job plan content, PM request/change forms).
- Coordinates with other trades/groups, operating departments, facility engineers, and outside contractors; verifies completed work for code/specification conformance.
- Analyzes, prepares, and distributes performance information and reports; coordinates special programs as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree (or equivalent) in a trades-related field plus 10+ years hands-on experience as a Sr. tradesperson.
- Manufacturing/device experience strongly preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Multi-skilled trades capability; familiar with basic maintenance tools/equipment.
- Knowledge of computer systems/programs used in maintenance operations.
- Knowledge of AbbVie policies/procedures impacting maintenance operations.
