Purpose:
The Meeting Account Manager manages and supports operational and logistical activities for meeting and event related activities, and works closely with clients and internal counterparts to execute successful meetings and events.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system through strategic meeting management operations and standards for the customer account base.
- Consult internal stakeholders during event planning; develop initial meeting specifications and budget; facilitate event approvals; develop meeting format to achieve business objectives.
- Coordinate with Central Sourcing and client for site search and venue recommendations; coordinate with Central Sourcing, client, and Purchasing to execute contracts and initiate purchase orders; define client expectations and operational standards with the preferred logistics provider.
- Attend client off-site meetings/events as needed; act as a resource to clients and logistics providers; observe and document supplier performance strengths and areas of opportunity.
- Ensure meetings follow policy and maintain HCP compliance (e.g., meal limits, transfer of value related).
- Ensure logistics compliance across meeting planning.
- Manage web registration (create, review, test, get Business Owner feedback) and attendee invitation/reminder processes; collaborate with TPV; review/approve/deny deviation requests from TPV.
- Manage TPV through planning and close-out; trigger TPV status in Lanyon as needed.
- Manage/reserve air, ground transportation, and rooms; provide setup and attendee information; request arrival/departure manifests; supervise TPV activities.
- Support annual planning/budgeting with management; identify meeting activity and assist with budgeting.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent; 7+ years work experience required.
- Certified CMP/CTSM preferred.
- Meeting management; attendee management; supplier management.
- Ability to manage multiple project deadlines; cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
- High initiative and ability to work independently.
