Role: Field-based Medical Value Liaison (MVL) within Ipsen’s U.S. Medical Affairs, focusing on engaging healthcare decision-makers across population health sectors. Objectives include supporting evidence-based decision-making, health economics, and patient outcomes through scientific and real-world data discussions. Responsibilities encompass developing strategic account plans, communicating scientific and health outcome information, gathering insights on disease states and treatment pathways, and representing Ipsen at scientific events. The role involves close collaboration with Value & Access teams, external stakeholders, and internal medical and commercial functions. Requirements: Doctoral degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.), 2-3 years’ experience with U.S. payers or health systems, strong understanding of healthcare policy, observational research, and experience in oncology, neurology, or rare diseases. Skills in strategic planning, communication, and relationship-building are essential. Preferred qualifications include post-doctoral training or expertise in health outcomes, pharmacoeconomics, or health policy. High-value specifics: Focus on population health decision-makers, payer and health system engagement, evidence generation, and health policy, with a travel expectation of 50-70%. The role is based in the U.S., requiring fluency in English.
