Role Summary
Medical Specialist II β Ophthalmology, covering Charlotte/Western North Carolina, Greenville, SC, and parts of Virginia. The role focuses on developing and managing relationships with Retina Specialists and other customer accounts to grow revenues and meet product goals. It provides technical and clinical product knowledge and support, leveraging Regeneron resources to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with Retina Specialists and other customer accounts in the assigned territory to grow revenues and achieve product goals
- Focus on approved indications related to eye conditions; provide technical and clinical product knowledge and support
- Utilize Regeneron marketing and operations resources to enhance productivity and ensure optimal customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of specialty sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Buy and Bill experience
- Experience in biologics and buy-and-bill products
- Ophthalmology with retina experience preferred
- Based in or near the assigned territory; relocation not provided
- Demonstrated history of high sales performance
- Experience with reimbursement programs, government programs, managed care, formulary and contract negotiation
Education
- BA/BS in science or business; masterβs degree a plus
