      Role Summary
 The Medical Specialist (Sales Representative), Gastroenterology (MS) will engage Gastroenterologists and other key customers within an assigned geographical universe, presenting clinically focused selling messages to create and grow revenue, and consistently deliver product goals. The MS will perform in a compliant manner with integrity, following all policies governing the promotion of pharmaceutical and biologic products in the US.
 
 Responsibilities
 
 - Develop strategy and execute tactics within key Gastroenterology accounts to generate product utilization.
 
 - Develop strong working relationships with Gastroenterologists, nurses, office staff, and other health care personnel and patient advocacy groups as directed.
 
 - Collaborate with district colleagues, alliance partners, and other field-based and home office teams to address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends; develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
 
 - Participate in and help lead initiatives to support sales success (e.g., industry congresses, local/regional meetings, medical conferences).
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 - Required: Bachelor’s degree; 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience including at least 2 years selling in Gastroenterology or similar subcutaneous biologic market; experience training office staff, nurses, and office managers; ability to travel and cover large territories.
 
 - Preferred: Master’s degree or other advanced education/certifications.
