Medical Specialist I-Dermatology-Baton Rouge, LA

As a Medical Specialist, you will engage Dermatologists and other key customers with clinically-focused sales messaging.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy and execute tactics within key accounts in the Dermatology therapeutic area
- Build strong working relationships with health care professionals (including nurses and office staff) and patient advocacy/support groups
- Collaborate with regional colleagues and field/home office teams to proactively address customer needs
- Analyze market dynamics and trends to develop strategies that support brand and corporate objectives
- Drive sales initiatives, including industry congresses, local/regional meetings, and medical conferences
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree or advanced education/certifications (plus)
- Specialty pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience with at least 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- Minimum of 2 years selling in the Immunology market or a similar subcutaneous self-injectable biologic specialty market (dermatology experience preferred)
- Proven success and consistent sales performance in complex markets across diverse customer segments
- Ability to travel and cover large geographic territories; must reside within the listed territory
