Medical Science Liaison - West

Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for neuromuscular diseases, serving as a strategic scientific resource to healthcare professionals and internal teams. Responsibilities include developing KOL engagement plans, supporting clinical research, delivering scientific education, and providing clinical insights to inform medical strategies. The MSL leads KOL identification, manages top-tier relationships, mentors junior staff, and collaborates cross-functionally with clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure compliant scientific communication and support trial activities. Qualifications: Advanced degree (MD, PhD, NP, PharmD, PA); preferred 10+ years of MSL experience, especially within neuromuscular disorders like DMD or DM1, or rare diseases. Strong knowledge of investigational therapies, clinical trial processes, and the neuromuscular space; proven relationship-building skills and ability to communicate complex data effectively. High-value specifics include focus on neuromuscular therapeutics, investigational products, and clinical trial support. Work setup involves extensive travel, with a field-based, remote-capable environment.
