Medical Science Liaison (Somatic Oncology - TX)

Role: Field-based Medical Science Liaison supporting Myriad's Somatic / Tumor Genomics portfolio within precision oncology. Responsibilities: maintain deep scientific expertise in liquid and tumor profiling, biomarker-driven therapy, resistance mechanisms, and NGS assays; engage with oncologists, molecular pathologists, and other specialists to provide clinical education, interpret complex genomic data, and support appropriate test utilization; represent the company at conferences, build KOL relationships, and collaborate across Medical Affairs, R&D, marketing, and commercial teams to inform strategy and generate evidence. Requirements: advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MS, NP/PA) with 3+ years experience in oncology, molecular diagnostics, or related fields; strong understanding of biomarkers, targeted therapies, therapy pathways, and clinical guidelines; proven ability to engage clinicians and communicate complex data. HighValue: oncology, somatic testing, NGS-based assays, biomarker interpretation, active engagement with KOLs, conference representation, and cross-functional collaboration. WorkSetup: field-based in TX/LA, with travel estimated at 50-60%, potentially up to 80%, including weekends; must be willing to undergo territory changes.
