Medical Science Liaison/ Senior Medical Science Liaison (Boston)

Role: The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) at Verastem Oncology is a field-based scientific expert focusing on engaging healthcare providers, providing education on investigational cancer therapies, and supporting research collaborations. Responsibilities include establishing relationships with key investigators, delivering medical education, facilitating research initiatives, and sharing clinical insights. The Senior MSL role expands these duties to include contributing to publication planning, leading national projects, mentoring, and strategic initiatives. Qualifications: Advanced degree (MSN, PharmD, PhD) with a minimum of 3 years oncology experience for MSL and 5+ years in Pharma Medical Affairs for Senior MSL, preferably in gynecologic oncology. Skills include exceptional scientific communication, strategic thinking, network development, and knowledge of treatment guidelines (NCCN, ASCO, ESMO), regulatory standards, and clinical research processes. High-value specifics: focus on ovarian and gynecologic cancers, investigational therapies, and extensive travel (up to 70%).
