Medical Science Liaison, Rheumatology (IL, MI, N. Indiana))

Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Rheumatology, primarily field-based, responsible for engaging healthcare professionals and thought leaders to facilitate scientific exchange, medical education, and research in rheumatology. Objectives include building relationships with HCPs and research leaders, providing scientific support for BMS medicines, and supporting clinical trial activities. Responsibilities encompass developing medical strategies, maintaining knowledge of treatment landscapes, supporting investigator-initiated research, and representing BMS at medical congresses. Requirements include a medical or pharmacy degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, PA, NP), with at least 2 years of clinical/pharmaceutical experience, prior MSL experience preferred. Knowledge of rheumatology therapeutic areas, clinical trial processes, HEOR concepts, and healthcare landscape is essential. The role demands excellent scientific communication skills, ability to operate independently, and a valid driver’s license for field mobility.
