Responsibilities include engaging with opinion leaders, implementing scientific engagement plans, supporting speaker training, liaising with investigators for non-sponsored research, and participating in congress activities. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, scientific communication, and clinical support, with a focus on rare autoimmune conditions within the therapeutic areas Amgen targets. Qualifications: Doctorate degree or Master’s with 3 years or Bachelor’s with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience; preferred PhDs, MDs, or DOs. Skills include strong communication, interpersonal abilities, and up to 60% travel, potentially working long hours for territory management and conferences. Relevant experience in Rare Disease, Nephrology, or Rheumatology is advantageous. The position is field-based, emphasizing scientific expertise, strategic engagement, and compliance with regulatory standards.
