Role Summary

Medical Science Liaison (Neurology) - Southwest. Serve as a scientific liaison within Medical Affairs, engaging with expert healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge, support medical information, and contribute to inter-departmental initiatives. Communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to diverse audiences in verbal, graphical, and written formats.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in scientific exchange with expert healthcare professionals as part of the Medical Affairs team.
  • Participate in Medical Affairs project assignments.
  • Communicate scientific concepts effectively to multiple audiences — verbally, graphically, and in writing.
  • Contribute to key department functions (e.g., medical information) and inter-departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Required: Doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD, MD)
  • Required: Prior experience in neurology-related field
  • Preferred: Pharmaceutical industry experience in multiple sclerosis
  • Preferred: Immunology experience
  • Preferred: Previous experience (2+ years) as an MSL or in Medical Affairs
  • Preferred: Experience in clinical research and/or direct patient care
  • Required: Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to a variety of audience types
  • Required: Adept at building and maintaining relationships with others
  • Required: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to adapt within a dynamic environment
  • Required: Willingness to travel (75%) and easy access to a major metropolitan airport
