Medical Science Liaison (Neurology) - Midwest

Role Summary

The Medical Science Liaison (Neurology) acts as a scientific resource within the Medical Affairs team, facilitating exchange with healthcare professionals and contributing to medical information and inter-department initiatives. This role requires strong communication, collaboration, and travel.

Responsibilities

• Engage in scientific exchange with expert healthcare professionals as part of the Medical Affairs team.
• Participate in Medical Affairs project assignments.
• Communicate scientific concepts effectively to multiple audiences — verbally, graphically, and in writing.
• Contribute to key department functions (e.g., medical information) and inter-departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Required: Doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD, MD).
• Required: Prior experience in neurology-related field; preference for pharmaceutical industry experience in multiple sclerosis. Immunology experience is a plus.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience as an MSL or in Medical Affairs.
• Preferred: Experience in clinical research and/or direct patient care.
• Required: Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to a variety of audience types.
• Required: Adept at building and maintaining relationships with others.
• Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Required: Demonstrated ability to adapt within a dynamic environment.
• Required: Willingness to travel (75%) and easy access to a major metropolitan airport.
