Role Summary

Medical Science Liaison (Neurology) for the Mid-Atlantic region. This role engages in scientific exchange with expert healthcare professionals as part of the Medical Affairs team, supports project assignments, and communicates scientific concepts effectively to diverse audiences. The positions contributes to key department functions and inter-departmental initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Engage in scientific exchange with expert healthcare professionals as part of the Medical Affairs team.
• Participate in Medical Affairs project assignments.
• Communicate scientific concepts effectively to multiple audiences — verbally, graphically, and in writing.
• Contribute to key department functions (e.g., medical information) and inter-departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Required: Doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD, MD)
• Required: Prior experience in a neurology-related field
• Preferred: Pharmaceutical industry experience in multiple sclerosis
• Preferred: Immunology experience
• Preferred: Previous experience (2+ years) as an MSL or in Medical Affairs
• Preferred: Experience in clinical research and/or direct patient care
• Required: Exemplary written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly
• Required: Able to build and maintain relationships
• Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Required: Ability to adapt within a dynamic environment

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel (75%) and easy access to a major metropolitan airport
