Position: Medical Science Liaison, Neurodegeneration
Location/Territory: Field (Seattle); covers WA, OR, MT, ID, ND, WY, AK

Primary Role
- Engage in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with healthcare system leaders (RTLs/National Thought Leaders/HCPs) within a defined geography to translate science into patient care, including top HCPs in high-disease burden hospitals.
- Capture medical insights and serve as a clinical & scientific advisor to cross-functional partners; ensure medical community knowledge of safe and effective use of BMS medicines.
- Provide educational dialogue and share clinical evidence aligned with the field medical plan.
- Serve as Medical on Call (virtual) to answer unsolicited, off-label, and technically complex questions in real time (to be implemented in 2025 market-by-market).
- Field-based role: majority of time interacting with external stakeholders (investigators/clinical thought leaders) while supporting internal stakeholders and maintaining therapeutic expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop trusted relationships with Neurology/Multiple Sclerosis Thought Leaders via proactive and reactive peer-to-peer dialogue using channels such as 1:1, group presentations, and virtual.
- Medical engagement: collaborate on clinical landscape insights; support medical plan development for effective launch and lifecycle management (LCM); engage medical societies/PAGs/guideline committees; train external speakers; strategically engage payers pre- and peri-launch; address unsolicited HCP questions in real time; document and achieve annual goals; leverage digital capabilities.
- Clinical trial engagement: provide feasibility recommendations to clinical development; liaise with large accounts on clinical barriers to patient access and equitable clinical trial access; lead major evidence read-outs (e.g., Phase 3 top-line data); support interventional and non-interventional research (site identification/assessment); support ISR submission/execution and follow-up; ensure local investigator understanding of Pharmacovigilance procedural documents and alert on adverse events; support CRO-sponsored studies if applicable.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with disease-area experience (or broad medical background/relevant pharmaceutical experience).
- Experience in scientific and/or clinical research environment (field medical expertise preferred).
- Deep understanding of TL environment and needs.
- Strong Neurology and/or Multiple Sclerosis experience.
- Scientific publication understanding.
- Clinical trial design and process knowledge.
- Understanding of national/regional healthcare and access environment.

Travel / Driver Requirements
- Must be able to operate a Company-provided vehicle; employment contingent on meeting Qualified Driver requirements (e.g., at least 21 years of age; valid driver’s license in good standing; acceptable driving risk level).
- Majority of time in the field with external customers; additional territory/team needs as needed.

Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Field (United States): $166,090–$201,262 (full-time FTE); additional incentive cash/stock may be available (based on eligibility). Final compensation based on demonstrated experience.
