Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Neurodegeneration, based in Southern California (San Diego). Objectives: Facilitate peer-to-peer scientific engagement with healthcare leaders to translate science into patient care and support product launch and lifecycle activities. Responsibilities: Build trusted relationships with neurodegenerative disease Thought Leaders (TLs), provide scientific education, address unsolicited questions, support clinical trial insights, and engage with medical societies and patient advocacy groups. Also, support clinical development by advising on trial feasibility, investigator engagement, and real-world evidence (RWE). Qualifications: MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent with deep neurology expertise, clinical or research experience, understanding of clinical trial design, and regulatory guidelines. Preferred: experience in pharmaceutical industry and field medical roles. High-Value: neurodegeneration, neurology, clinical trial support, scientific engagement, RWE, real-time medical support via virtual 'Medical on Call,' compliance with GxP/regulatory standards. Work setup: field-based with extensive external stakeholder interaction; travel required within territory; live within or near San Diego.
