Primary Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, investigators, and key opinion leaders to support Medical Affairs objectives
- Deliver accurate, balanced, and compliant scientific exchange on disease state, clinical data, and the ulixacaltimide profile
- Support prelaunch medical readiness by educating stakeholders on emerging data, treatment paradigms, and patient identification considerations
- Gather, synthesize, and communicate field insights (e.g., unmet needs, treatment patterns, clinical questions) to inform medical strategy
- Identify and engage developing and established KOLs under the guidance of senior team members
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners to ensure aligned execution of field activities
- Represent Praxis at scientific congresses and medical meetings, capturing and sharing relevant insights
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CNS/neurology disease areas, clinical data, and competitive landscape
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards
Qualifications:
- Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or RN)
- Early to mid-career experience in medical affairs, clinical practice, clinical research, or related roles in biotech/pharma
- Strong ability to learn and communicate scientific and clinical information clearly and credibly
- Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships with healthcare providers
- Interest in developing field-based expertise (insight gathering and scientific engagement)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organization and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel extensively (~60β80%)
Preferred/Plus:
- Experience in neurology or CNS disorders
- Exposure to payer/market access concepts
- Prior field-based experience with a track record of independently driving site performance, influencing investigators, and improving trial execution (may be considered at a higher level)
Compensation & Benefits:
