Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Gastroenterology supporting Upstate New York, responsible for scientific engagement, relationship building with healthcare professionals, and providing unbiased scientific information. Responsibilities: develop and execute territory-specific scientific plans, foster relationships with KOLs, facilitate high-quality scientific exchange, support investigator-initiated studies, and gather insights to inform medical strategy. Maintain current knowledge of GI treatment landscape, leverage AI tools for decision-making, and ensure compliance with regulations. Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Operations, and represent the company at congresses. Requirements: Doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent), 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in MSL or GI therapeutic area, with strong scientific and clinical knowledge, research experience, and strategic collaboration skills. Ability to travel up to 70% within the territory, hold a valid US driverβs license. Preferred: Board certification, residency/fellowship, and additional therapeutic experience. High-value: Gastroenterology, scientific exchange, investigator support, and experience with US regulatory and compliance standards. Work setup: Territory-based with substantial travel, covering Upstate NY, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Worcester, MA.
