Objectives include establishing scientific credibility, fostering relationships with key opinion leaders, and providing non-promotional, evidence-based scientific education. Responsibilities encompass developing and executing territory engagement plans, facilitating scientific exchange, supporting investigator-initiated research, and delivering tailored clinical data to healthcare professionals. The role also involves tracking competitive landscape and integrating insights into strategic planning, collaborating with internal teams (R&D, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations), and ensuring compliance with regulations. Qualifications: doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or advanced practice provider), with post-graduate experience in clinical or research settings, preferably in GI. At least 2 years of relevant experience and therapeutic area expertise are preferred; residency or fellowship and board certification are advantageous. The role demands strong scientific acumen, strategic thinking, clinical knowledge, and proficiency in data analysis, with up to 70% travel required. High-impact focus areas include GI indications, investigator engagement, and scientific exchange in a regulated, compliant environment. The position is field-based with a focus on relationship-building and scientific advocacy, supporting both internal and external stakeholders to advance medical understanding and research.
