Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr MSL) serving as a scientific ambassador in Hematology, focusing on Sickle Cell, Thalassemia, and Transplant fields. Objectives include building trusted relationships with thought leaders, contributing to medical strategies, and supporting clinical development. Responsibilities: establish and maintain external HCP relationships, incorporate medical plans into territory activities, utilize data analytics and CRM tools effectively, discuss complex scientific data credibly, understand payer dynamics, support clinical trial activities including Investigator Meetings, represent Vertex at medical congresses, and mentor colleagues. Requirements: advanced biomedical degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD), minimum 5 years in medical affairs or as an MSL, experience in Hematology or related therapeutic areas preferred, strong understanding of healthcare regulations, excellent communication and presentation skills, proficiency in CRM and data analytics, valid driverβs license, willingness to travel up to 70%.
