Medical Science Liaison, Gastroenterology (AR, LA, MS)

Role: The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a remote, field-based position within Takeda’s US medical team, responsible for scientifically engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to advance medical strategies and improve patient outcomes in specified territories (Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi). Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with HCPs/KOLs, disseminate complex scientific data accurately, support research initiatives, gather and communicate medical insights, and participate in medical conferences. Requirements: Doctoral degree in life/health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD) preferred; minimum of a Master’s degree; 0-2 years healthcare or related experience; excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills. High-Value: Focus on scientific exchange with external healthcare professionals; extensive travel (up to 70%), including overnight and weekend commitments; proficiency in therapeutic area knowledge and scientific data dissemination; ability to work effectively virtually and cross-functionally.
