Medical Science Liaison, Cell Therapy Autoimmune (CTAI) — Territory: Field (IN, OH, KY, W. PA)
Responsibilities:
- Identify, establish, and maintain scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Serve as primary liaison to investigators for investigator-initiated research
- Develop and execute geography-specific Field Medical and KOL Interaction plans
- Partner with other MSL teams to achieve CTAI objectives with rheumatologists and hematologists
- Support patient education as subject matter expert on BMS pipeline/investigational therapies
- Provide clinical presentations and respond to unsolicited questions in academic/healthcare settings (group/1:1)
- Collaborate with Clinical R&D to enhance patient enrollment in BMS-sponsored trials (site selection; interaction with investigators)
- Provide scientific support at national/regional/local medical congresses/meetings
- Capture and share timely feedback/insights on the cell therapy/autoimmune landscape
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Terminal degree in medical science (PA-C, DNP, Pharm D, M.D., or Ph.D.)
- 3–5 years clinical or research experience in cell therapy or autoimmune disease OR 3–5 years as an MSL in these areas
- Cell therapy or rheumatology experience strongly preferred
- Independent work and cross-functional collaboration
- Working knowledge of US legal/regulatory/compliance requirements for interactions with HCPs
- Ability to build/maintain medical community relationships; strong communication/presentation/time management
- Translate scientific/clinical data for physicians/patient benefit
- Travel >50% (field-based)
