Medical Science Liaison – CAPLYTA (Neuroscience) - Ohio

Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Johnson & Johnson's Neuroscience portfolio, focusing on CAPLYTA in Ohio (Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland). Objectives include developing scientific engagement strategies, establishing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, and delivering objective, non-promotional scientific information to healthcare professionals. Responsibilities involve executing territory plans, fostering scientific exchange, gathering insights, supporting investigator-initiated studies, and collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, Medical Affairs, and other internal teams. Qualifications include a Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent), with post-graduate and therapeutic experience preferred; at least 2 years in an MSL or related role is advantageous. The position requires deep knowledge of neuroscience disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, schizophrenia, and autism, with familiarity in areas like clinical research, regulatory compliance, and scientific communication. The role demands up to 70% travel within territory, with proficiency in data analysis, scientific presentation, and stakeholder engagement. Preferred skills include strategic thinking, competitive landscape analysis, and familiarity with AI tools. The role reports to the Field Director and involves supporting both company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research, with a focus on maintaining scientific integrity and compliance in the therapeutics area of neuroscience.
