Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Johnson & Johnson's Neuroscience portfolio, focusing on CAPLYTA within the Maryland/DC/Virginia territory. Responsibilities: develop scientific engagement plans, build relationships with key opinion leaders, facilitate high-quality scientific exchange, support investigator-initiated studies, and stay current on therapeutic landscape trends. Act as a scientific expert, translating evidence into meaningful discussions with healthcare providers, and gather actionable insights to inform medical strategy. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across R&D, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Commercial teams, ensuring compliant and impactful scientific interactions. Requirements: Doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or Advanced Practice Provider), with postgraduate clinical or research experience; strong scientific and therapeutic knowledge, including familiarity with neuroscience indications like major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and schizophrenia. At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an MSL role, with proficiency in clinical research, data analysis, and strategic engagement; willingness to travel up to 70%. Preferred: Board certification, residency/fellowship, and emerging technology familiarity such as AI. High-Value: Neuroscience, CNS disorders, investigator engagement, regulatory and compliance standards, cross-functional collaboration, scientific exchange, and territory management. Work setup involves field-based activities with substantial travel.
