Medical Science Liaison

Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) within rare disease and oncology, supporting Protara’s cell therapy TARA-002 and IV Choline Chloride products. Responsibilities: develop professional relationships with healthcare opinion leaders, provide scientific support, facilitate clinical trial recruitment, and educate healthcare professionals on disease management and clinical data. Support clinical trial activities, gather insights on competitive landscape, and assist in scientific communication and advisory board activities. Qualifications: MD/DO, PhD, PharmD, PA, NP, RN with 3-5+ years in biotech or pharma, including 3+ years as an MSL; experience in oncology and rare diseases, hospital/institutional settings essential. Skills: strong scientific communication, strategic planning, relationship-building, and data interpretation. Experience in clinical or pharmacy environments, with ability to travel up to 60% within the US and internationally. Work setup: travel-intensive, primarily field-based across AZ, NV, UT.
