Role: Medical Science Director supporting CorMedix's hospital-based therapies across oncology, infectious disease, nephrology, and critical care. Primary objectives include scientific exchange with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and institutional stakeholders; gathering clinical insights; supporting evidence generation; and advancing medical strategies for both marketed and pipeline products. Responsibilities encompass engaging KOLs in oncology (notably Bone Marrow Transplant), infectious disease, and supportive care; conducting compliant scientific discussions; facilitating clinical trial site identification and investigator support; and providing scientific input for educational materials and cross-functional initiatives. Requirements: advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, etc.); 1+ years of field medical or scientific engagement experience, ideally within oncology or hospital-based specialties; demonstrated ability to build relationships with healthcare systems and KOLs; strong communication and collaboration skills; proficient in scientific literature and data interpretation. Preferred: experience with clinical or commercial-stage biotech, oncology (including BMT), infectious disease, nephrology, or supportive care; familiarity with evidence communication, medical education, and clinical trial support. Work setup: field-based in California supporting a territory with extensive travel (approximately 60β70%) to medical centers, conferences, and customer meetings. The role emphasizes collaboration within a matrix organization and maintaining high scientific and ethical standards.
