Role Summary
Medical Representative (Patra) responsible for building relationships with healthcare professionals within Viatris's Primary Care portfolio, achieving sales targets in the assigned territory, and promoting company products. You will analyze sales data, maintain customer profiles, and support the implementation of trade policies in pharmacies. The role involves attending national meetings and medical conferences to promote products and monitoring product usage to identify growth or declines in purchasing patterns.
Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact between the company and the healthcare professionals specializing in our Primary Care portfolio (e.g. cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, thrombosis)
- Be responsible for achieving sales target in the assigned territory
- Be responsible for effective use of the supporting materials
- Be responsible for effective implementation of trade policy in pharmacies
- Analyze sales figures and territory data for assigned district. Interpret findings, draw conclusions, and make written recommendations
- Participate actively in national sales meetings. Attend national programs and medical conferences to promote the company and its products
- Maintain updated customer account profiles and track client information
- Monitor product usage by the customers to determine growth and/or decrease in purchasing patterns
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical Sales of Primary Care products
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical retail business
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution process
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry or Business is preferred
- Good negotiation and presentation skills
- Good level of English (both spoken and written)
- Driving License
