Role Summary
Medical Representative β Basrah. Promote care for people living with obesity or diabetes, engage healthcare professionals, and grow market access across Basra.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and customer engagement in the assigned territory.
- Maintain a classified list of customers (physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, centers, etc.) to visit on a scheduled basis.
- Promote products to targeted groups and ensure physicians have full knowledge of the product; participate in local conferences.
- Facilitate the order process among pharmacies, warehouses, and distributors.
- Report customer complaints and adverse events according to Novo Nordisk procedures.
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets, increase market share, and respond to competitor activity.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and submit regular reports with insights and actions.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorβs degree in pharmaceutical sciences and registration with the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate.
- Required: 1β2 yearsβ experience in pharmaceutical sales or related field; diabetes/obesity experience is an advantage.
- Required: Excellent communication skills in Arabic (spoken and written) and proficiency in English.
- Required: Strong customer-facing skills, commercial acumen, and negotiation ability.
- Required: Good time management, planning, and analytical skills.
- Required: Adaptability, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently.
- Preferred: Team player with ability to collaborate across functions.
