Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) supporting Novo Nordiskβs diabetes portfolio in the MN, SD, ND, and WI regions. Primary objectives include building relationships with healthcare providers, demonstrating clinical benefits of products, and supporting clinical trial activities. Responsibilities encompass medical education, scientific exchange, site identification for trials, and collaboration with internal teams like HEOR, Marketing, and Sales to optimize product utilization and access. The role involves coordinating clinical support, developing account strategies, and providing scientific updates within healthcare networks. Requirements: Doctoral degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD), at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, or managed care setting, with strong preference for extensive diabetes experience. Proven communication skills, clinical or therapeutic expertise, and business acumen are essential. Preferred: clinical experience in diabetes, familiarity with formulary processes. The position demands 50-75% overnight travel, with a focus on relationship management, clinical support, and scientific advocacy. Collaboration with KOLs, healthcare organizations, and internal stakeholders is integral. The role reports to a Field Director/Senior Field Director and involves strategic territory management. The position is classified within a job family with an estimated base salary range of $116,820 to $259,510, plus bonus and benefits, supporting long-term healthcare impact and patient-centered innovation.
