Role: Medical Director, Global Medical Affairs in Nephrology at Travere Therapeutics, leading scientific strategy and external engagement for civorebrutinib in immune-mediated renal diseases. Responsibilities: develop and execute global medical strategies, engage KOLs, oversee scientific communications, support evidence generation, and collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access. Lead external scientific engagements, manage medical insights, and support clinical trial programs. Requirements: MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent; 6+ years in biotech/pharma Medical Affairs, with nephrology or immunology expertise; experience in clinical development, evidence generation, KOL engagement, and scientific communication. Preferred: background in autoimmune or rare diseases, and supporting product lifecycle. High-Value: focus on rare disease nephrology therapies, late-stage clinical development, evidence generation, and global stakeholder engagement. Work setup: primarily remote with domestic/international travel up to 40%, based in San Diego.
