Role: Medical Director supporting clinical development of new and marketed drugs, primarily in women’s health or dermatology, with focus on protocol design, scientific oversight, and regulatory strategy. Responsibilities include leading or contributing to global clinical plans, designing patient-centered protocols, collaborating with operations and vendors, overseeing study conduct and data review, and authoring clinical study reports. The role involves direct medical monitoring, safety oversight, and interaction with regulatory agencies to support successful submissions. It also encompasses external engagement activities, such as coauthoring publications, building relationships with thought leaders and patient advocacy groups, and supporting lifecycle management and due diligence. Qualifications: MD, DO, or MRCP with 2-4 years of clinical development experience in biotech or pharma; experience in women’s health, dermatology, or pediatrics preferred. Familiarity with ICH, GCP, and clinical trial execution, including medical monitoring, is required. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, along with high ethical standards. The position offers remote work within the US, with travel as needed to support trials and external engagements. The role reports to the Executive Director within the Global Clinical Development team.
