Key Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced analytics solutions and insights to improve Medical Affairs measurement/effectiveness/impact and resource effectiveness/allocation.
- Provide actionable recommendations across: channel effectiveness & performance measurement; resource allocation/optimization across products and channels; experimental design (test/control) analyses; simulation and “what-if” scenarios for Medical engagement strategic planning.
- Apply and align measurement effectiveness/optimization analytics best practices; maintain an inventory of measures and studies for benchmarking.
- Build innovative models of events and customer/patient knowledge, understanding, and behavior to isolate channel effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to improve analytics methods by researching trends, best practices, and external benchmarks.
- Ensure high-quality analytics execution (quality checks) and share best practices.
- Partner cross-functionally (Medical Analytics, Commercial Insights, cross-matrix partners) to integrate insights and influence strategy.
- Communicate clearly to stakeholders; translate technical findings into simple recommendations using visuals and storytelling.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS in a quantitative sciences field.
- 2+ years applying advanced analytics/statistics (e.g., machine learning/AI, predictive modeling, experimental design, segmentation/clustering, response modeling/optimization, mix modeling).
- 2+ years SAS and/or statistical tools (SAS Enterprise Miner, SPSS, R/Python).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare/life science and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- MA/MS in a quantitative sciences field.
- 2–5+ years (or up to 2 years with an advanced degree).
- SQL and Teradata experience; data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, JMP, Qlikview).
- Strong multivariate/statistical and machine learning knowledge; strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
