The Hematology Oncology Account Specialist engages Hematologist and other key Oncology customers (academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts) to support the Multiple Myeloma product launch. Delivers clinically focused selling messages to build revenue and meet product goals, working compliantly and collaboratively with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and Regional Science Managers.
Responsibilities
- Engage Hematology experts and key Oncology customers with clinically focused selling messages for product launches.
- Partner with Regional Director, Territory-based Oncology Account Specialists, and Reimbursement Specialists to resolve customer needs, identify market trends, and develop territory strategies.
- Build relationships with aligned designated accounts and specialists.
- Conduct market profiling of regional/local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Understand each account’s objectives and needs; identify appropriate approved resources.
- Demonstrate dedication to compliance through understanding regulations/policies governing customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred/plus).
- 5+ years successful Oncology sales experience; Hematology Oncology preferred.
- Buy-and-bill biologics experience required.
- 3+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers (group practices, academic hospitals, institutions).
- Current account management calling on large Oncology group practices and/or IDNs.
- Strong understanding of Hematology Oncology and the Oncology marketplace.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills; collaborative leadership.
- Ability to travel and cover a large geography territory.

Compensation/Benefits
- Salary range (annually): $154,600.00 - $198,600.00
