Medical Account Specialist II - NEUROLOGY -RIVERSIDE, CA

Responsibilities:
- Engage rare neurology experts and key customers within an assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access specialists and other stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics and trends, and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives in the territory.
- Build strong working relationships with clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, patient advocacy support groups, and internal partners (e.g., Reimbursement and Access, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade).
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Demonstrate “total account call” expectations by ensuring all account personnel are educated on commercially available products.
- Develop and execute strategy and tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts with the Rare Neurology account team (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Gain deep knowledge of each assigned account through internal research and information gathered from stakeholders (business model, metrics, challenges, and goals).
Qualifications/Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
Qualifications/Preferred:
- Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications.
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales experience; specialty/biologic/REMS experience; launch experience preferred.
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations with a Neurology focus.
- Proven sales performance in complex markets with integrity and compliance.
- Results-oriented with product launch success.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning account management skills.
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and marketplace.
